Dan was last on the show May 13, and recently cohosted the Janders Dean & Chicago-Kent College of Law Legal Horizons Conference on July 14, and spoke on the launch of Law Lab, Chicago-Kent College of Law’s research center focused on legal innovation and technology. Dan is a professor of law at IIT-Chicago Kent College of Law and is preeminent in the fields of legal informatics, quantitative modeling of litigation and jurisprudence, quantitative finance, computational legal studies, big data and the law, ***economics of the legal profession***, technology aided access to the law, and more.

The Chief and Lou Michels kick off the show to try and dissect the ‘debacle’ that is the Republican National Convention – mainly Ted Cruz’s speech and his getting booed off the stage. They talk a bit about the electoral college vote and spend time harassing Nick for being a millennial. (It’s not his fault, guys.)
Lou and Chief talk some Turkey before inviting John Guidos, COO and co-founder of TurboAppeal on the show to dissect the new company aimed, “To help homeowners lower tax bills, reduce fees and simplify the property tax appeals process.”
We round out the show by talking about Russia’s Olympic team, mainly their possible ban from this year’s Summer Olympics- and of course some predictions on Donald Trump’s RNC speech, tonight.
