The Future of Labor

The Chief and Lou spend the first hour of the show discussing the presidential election. Lou describes why the super delegates were put in place and how they prevent party outsiders like Bernie Sanders from winning the primary. The Chief is concerned with our country’s election practices and thinks we should be shifting to a more democratic system like France. The second hour starts off with Chief’s in-depth analysis of the job numbers which leads to a discussion that takes a close look at our labor practices. The two debate the perks of reinstating a military draft or establishing a volunteer corp draft, as well as whether we’d be better off going to a single payer healthcare system.
