Investigating the Clinton Foundation


The Chief and Kevin O’Neill start off the show discussing markets and the difficulties of doing business across boarders. From trading abroad to providing aid across seas, there are a lot of little details that complicate matters. Later in the show, Kathy Dervin joins in with special guest, Charles Ortel. Charles discusses his investigation into the Clinton Foundation which he calls the “largest un-prosecuted charity fraud ever attempted.” He lists a number of allegations against the foundation and remarks on the heightened immorality that results from the Clintons’ political positions. John Neal of PTI Securities & Futures joins in for the last half hour to analyze the markets.

Throwback Thursday


Columbia College Associate Professor of Creative writing and Stocks & Jocks friend Eric Charles May joins the Chief for a Throwback Thursday. The two discuss the changing real estate market and how it makes it difficult for aspiring home owners. Eric and the Chief recall their parents’ first homes in the city and what it cost them. The throwbacks continue as the two discuss how their parents grew up in the shadow of the great depression, making spending habits and wealth discretion much different from today. At the top of the second hour the Chief picks at Eric’s higher education expertise to discuss how liberal arts colleges are worried about the decreasing enrollment rates ahead. Next they speculate if Apple actually has an electric car in the works that will change the electronic car market and turn their own earnings around.

Popping The Inflation Balloon


The Chief and Kevin O’Neill kick off the show to discuss inflation, and the upcoming election. They discuss some problems in the government – Kevin suggests, “Every single law should have an expiration date. Every. Single. One.”

Kevin and The Chief round out the first hour to discuss the merchandise issue in sports.

Fari Hamzei of Hamzei Analytics joins the Chief in trying to make sense of these wacky Wednesday markets. David Andalman finishes off the show with Chief to talk inflation numbers.
