Kevin O’Neill calls in for hour one to talk volatile markets, media overreactions and more before getting into a deep discussion on immigration policy. Dan Haugh, President of PTI Securities & Futures, talks commodities and trading strategies. Chief and Matty Weber close the show wondering what the future will hold following the Supreme Court’s decision to lift the prohibition on sports betting.
Guests & Co-Hosts
Kevin O’Neill is our Wednesday morning sports guy. His segment emphasizes what happens off the field as much as what happens on the field. All businesses have their intrigue, but the inner workings of sports organizations find their way into the public domain frequently. Unless a rant from the Chief spills into Kevin’s segment (not an unusual occurrence), he will highlight some of those sports related business issues; but be advised that those highlights usually come with an opinion. ONE THING LISTENERS MIGHT NOT KNOW ABOUT YOU
I actually prefer cats over dogs … don’t tell anyone.
ONE TRADE YOU’D LIKE TO HAVE BACK
I turned down free tickets and a ride to Milwaukee to go watch the Cubs vs. Astros play a Hurricane Ike makeup game back in 2008. I decided instead to play pickup basketball with a few of my friends. Of course, Carlos Zambrano ended up throwing a no hitter that night … and I ended up with a sprained ankle. Bad trade.
